Will you make a gift today to help more women like Latisha find a refuge from the streets, treatment, and long-term recovery support?

As we reflect on our 50th Anniversary year, we are reminded that the work is far from over. Women impacted by the criminal legal system need your support now more than ever to find hope and live safer, healthier lives.

In our rapidly changing world, the Benedict Center is responsive to challenges facing the women we serve. We continue to build our healing services, reentry support, and street outreach for women in the sex trade. We are expanding harm reduction resources, housing navigation, and employment services to support women at every stage of their journey.

We need your help in sustaining the strong momentum we’ve built to address the immediate needs of women today, while creating a brighter future for their children and grandchildren. Your gift is vital to our continued success.

The Benedict Center is needed more than ever. The rate of incarceration for women is rising, as is the rate of gender-based violence. Last quarter, 94% of the 31 women receiving enhanced case management services at our Sisters Program reported sex trafficking victimization. Your generosity ensures we can meet survivors’ urgent needs with trauma-informed advocacy and connection to medical care, legal assistance, and safe housing.

When you donate to the Benedict Center you are making a direct impact on the lives of women like Latisha right here in Milwaukee.

MPD Sensitive Crimes referred Latisha to our Sisters Program for victim support services. Latisha fled a sex trafficker and needed safe housing. We were able to help her find an apartment with a special two-year rent voucher through a joint project with Milwaukee County Housing Services.

Donate today to ensure we can offer essential services that empower women to reclaim their lives and their futures. You are making a lasting impact for them, their children, and our community.
